Nothing says summer vacation quite like the retro high school stoner flick "Dazed and Confused," which taught us how to haze freshmen, stand up to authority and fight for the right to party. More importantly, it gave us Matthew McConaughey's character David Wooderson, who reminded us why high school girls are awesome: "I get older -- they stay the same age." While McConaughey somehow looks younger now than he did in the 1993 film, we thought it was time to shake things up and imagine who would play the key roles if the movie were released today. Role: Randall 'Pink' Floyd
Played in the original by: Jason London
Our choice: Joe Jonas
Pink had the looks and skills to be the high school quarterback, but he wanted to give it all up for the music… and the drugs. Joe Jonas is our choice for Randall. Even though he doesn't have the long hair anymore, he's the stud of the Jonai -- having dated half of young Hollywood -- and he's even been in an episode of "Hot In Cleveland," which just screams youthful rebellion.
