Oh, Demi Moore. Of all the men in the world to choose from, perhaps it would have been wise to pick one who's neither acquainted with nor close to the same age as your offspring. People magazine reports the actress' eldest daughter, Rumer Willis, 24, is less than thrilled with her 50-year-old mom's rumored hookup with 26-year-old art scion Vito Schnabel.
"Rumer was pretty annoyed to hear any of it because all of them know Vito," says a source (via Hollywood Life), referring to Willis and her sisters, Scout, 21, and Tallulah, 18. "They have friends in common. It's too close to home."
The ostensible coupling has the potential to add another layer of dysfunction to the already strained relationship that Demi has had with her daughters since calling it quits with Ashton Kutcher in November 2011. How strained? In June, Moore sat apart from the three girls and ex-husband Bruce Willis at Tallulah's high school graduation.
Moore hit it off with Schabel last month during the lavish 50th birthday party Naomi Campbell tossed for her Russian billionaire beau in India.
"They were dancing and grinding all over each other, openly, in front of other guests," a spy tattled to the New York Post.
But will they continue the pas de deux in Miami later this week?
According to the Post, Demi plans to join Schnabel for the annual Art Basel event. Vito, who has been linked to older ladies Elle Macpherson and Liv Tyler (and whose 61-year-old artist-filmmaker dad Julian is engaged to a 30-year-old model), hosts an annual Dom Perignon-sponsored bash during the festivities.
