'Gossip Girl': Pop songstress Robyn visits the Upper East Side

Last season, "Gossip Girl" fans were treated to a performance by Lady Gaga. In Season 4, another pop star will be making a splash in NYC -- Robyn. The singer tweeted a photo from set on Sept. 14, having flown into New York after making an all-too-brief appearance on MTV's Video Music Awards.(Come on, we can't be the only ones disappointed that MTV cut to a commercial break during her performance. Verizon commercials over Robyn? Really?)We're hoping that Robyn's performance on "Gossip Girl" will give her a bit of much-needed U.S. exposure, since she's already a sensation in her native Sweden (and the rest of Europe, for that matter). Here, she might be best known for her 1997 hit "Show Me Love," but she's recently dropped her latest album, "Body Talk Pt. 2."We've reached out for more details from the network, but for now, we'll just search Robyn's Twitpic for clues.
