Ring Tone: Did Justin Pick the Wrong Sparkler for Jessica?

Unsuspecting Parisians likely suffered corneal burns on Friday, courtesy of Jessica Biel, who blithely flashed her behemoth engagement ring while shopping at several designer boutiques.

No word on whether the future Mrs. Justin Timberlake was in town to look for a wedding gown, although plans for a lavish summer ceremony are reportedly chugging along.

Still, it seems some nuptial dissension is already brewing.

Just days after an insider revealed that the actress gave in to Timberlake's wish to have a big wedding (she apparently wanted a more intimate affair), Us Weekly says the crooner-turned-actor "went rogue" when he selected his bride-to-be's six-carat, finger-burdening sparkler.

"Jessica's stylist really wanted Justin to come to her when picking out and designing the ring," kvetches the source. "She obviously knows what looks best on Jessica, and what type of things she likes to wear. They talked about it [in advance] and then Justin completely went rogue without telling Jessica's stylist, and decided to design the ring on his own."

And while there's no indication that Biel is unhappy with Timberlake's choice, "I wouldn't necessarily say it fits her style," grumbles the insider.
