Geez, that was fast. And surprisingly drama-free. Lindsay Lohan has already pulled the plug on her post-rehab romance with Matt Nordgren, a onetime reality star and blink-and-you-missed-him NFL player, reports Us.
The two were first linked less than two weeks ago, although they've known each other for several years. The hookup apparently fizzled fast because of geography (LiLo is currently in New York; he's based in Texas) and timing.
"Their work schedules and the distance just make dating impossible," says a source. "He really likes and respects her. He thinks she is back on top, emotionally and physically."
Lindsay's work schedule remains fairly light these days, other than her Oprah-commissioned reality show and the occasional red-carpet appearance. On Tuesday, the recidivism-prone starlet, 27, surfaced at a screening of Madonna's short film, "SecretProjectRevolution," in New York.
Nordgren, 30, best known for his stint on the Bravo dating show "Most Eligible Dallas" and a string of D-list squeezes (e.g. Taylor Armstrong, Audrina Patridge and former "Bachelorette" star Vienna Girardi), was billed as a positive influence on Lohan, since he's a businessman, Christian and, when he was around the sometime actress, a teetotaler.
Ultimately, the relationship lasted a couple of weeks less than his pro football career.
"He respects her sobriety and wishes her the absolute best," adds the insider. "They will remain good friends."
Meanwhile, in more disturbing news, Lindsay's estranged half-sister has run to In Touch to share the details of the $25,000 in plastic surgery she's had to look more like her famous family member.
"I've gotten rhinoplasty, a bit of refinement underneath my cheeks and jawline, some fat injected into my chin and some fat injected into my upper cheeks," says 18-year-old Ashley Horn, whose mother had a brief entanglement with Lohan's dad, Michael, in the '90s, when he was still married to Dina.
"My goal was to look like Lindsay in her good days, when she was around 18, 19 years old," explains Horn, who -- color us shocked -- wants to be famous. "I'm hotter than Lindsay! I have no problem saying that."
And we have no problem saying that Ashley looks absolutely nothing like Lindsay, despite her five (presumably painful) procedures. She also has no relationship with the Lohans, and makes a point of differentiating herself from the troubled clan.
"I'm not Lindsay. I wasn't raised in that family," she says. "I don't drink, do drugs or party. I like being a responsible person."
A "responsible person" who spent $25,000 to ride the coattails of her infamous sibling. Yep, the Lohan in her seems to run deep.
