Mariah Tweets Diva-fied Mea Culpa
Mariah Carey is laying it on thick after she appeared to take a potshot at Britney Spears' new "X Factor" gig, a job she was reportedly once interested in.
"You think I focus on that stuff? Have we met?" twin-birthing chanteuse asked "Extra" after Brit-Brit's role was officially announced on Monday. "I love [Britney], honestly. I think she's a very nice person, but I don't care who's going on that show, as long as it's not me."
By Wednesday, Mariah sought to clear the air, tweeting to Britney and "X Factor" overlord Simon Cowell, "of course I luv+care about you dahhlings, congrats! U never know what's true or gossip,I was joking around! xo."
