Russell and Geri Bonding Over Bendiness?

Picturing Russell Brand in any sort of physical activity gives us a case of the shudders (perhaps because he has so much hair and so many pairs of leg warmers). So pardon our heebie-jeebies over a report from the London Sun that says a big part of his attraction to rumored new squeeze Geri "Ginger Spice" Halliwell is their mutual bendiness.

"Geri has said they have a spiritual connection through yoga and they practice asana [basically, sitting still in a relaxed position] together," a source tells the tab. "Russell is known for action between the sheets, but he is actually very good at just sitting still in silence. It is something that has acted as a bond for he and Geri as their relationship blossoms."

The downward dog enthusiasts (she's released some yoga DVDs; he met his last girlfriend, Isabella Brewster, in a yoga class) hit it off during the closing ceremonies of the Olympics and have recently been spotted looking cozy around London.

Still, a Halliwell insider has dismissed the hookup reports, insisting to the London Daily Mail, "They're just friends and have been out a few times. There's not much else to add at this stage."
