Did Angelina Jolie give Brad Pitt the gift of a natural phenomenon this holiday season? The London Daily Mail claims the Oscar-winning do-gooder presented her architecture-buff love with a piece of property in California with its very own waterfall.
The combination Christmas and birthday gift (Pitt turned 48 on Dec. 18) was apparently meant to inspire the actor to build his own version of Frank Lloyd Wright's architectural masterpiece, the Fallingwater house in Pennsylvania. You might recall that for Brad's birthday back in 2006, Angelina surprised him with a private tour of the famed home.
"Brad has always loved Fallingwater and his first trip there was unforgettable," explains a snitch. "Angelina wanted to get him something incredibly special, and because she knows how much he loves architecture, she thought this would be perfect."
Adds the source, "Brad has dreamed of a home with the sound of a waterfall cascading under the house. ... He wants to pull all aspects of nature, light, glass and varying levels into the concept."
