Star Seeks Same for Fun, Romance

"I am single. I need to find a man." That's Charlize Theron, joking to Piers Morgan on CNN about the stagnant state of her love life. The Oscar-winning knockout, 35, has been single since splitting from Stuart Townsend in January 2010, and she used the interview to clear up some recent romance rumors.

Keanu Reeves, for instance, is "just a very, very dear friend," insists Charlize. "I consider him one of my best friends."

And her headline-making tête-à-tête with the "really, really charming, smart, funny" Prince Harry was "nice, beautiful, effortless" but nothing more, she says.

What Theron wants is "a long-term relationship," just not, as she's repeatedly stated, a husband, because "the actual ceremony is not something that's important to me, but I see the importance for other people."

When asked if she could ever see herself getting hitched, Charlize acknowledged, "I don't. … I treat my relationships like marriages, I really do."

Still, she doesn't think anyone should be denied the "divine right" to tie the knot: "I do have a problem with the fact that our government hasn't stepped up enough to make this federal, to make [gay marriage] legal."
