Kristen Stewart has approached the "Breaking Dawn -- Part 2" press tour as if she has nothing to hide, parading down the red carpet in one see-through ensemble after another. But Us Weekly says she's still plagued by remorse over two-timing Robert Pattinson with director Rupert Sanders.
"There are good days and bad days," shrugs a friend. "She still feels guilty."
Which seems like a perfectly reasonable response after publicly humiliating the man you've been dating for three or so years.
"He's never going to forget what she did, but he has forgiven her," adds an insider, who points out to the mag that neither star is a good enough actor to fake friendliness during the promotional campaign. "Almost losing him was a wake-up call for Kristen. And Rob doesn't want to be angry anymore. They want to move forward."
And though one "Twilight" tour spy says it's "almost as if no scandal had occurred," another pipes in, "She still thinks the world hates her. It's hard to resume a relationship after something like that."
Or perhaps keep it going once the press tour comes to end.
