The Secret to Dating George Clooney: Don't Plan Ahead

• Stacy Keibler isn't keeping her piehole closed regarding her blossoming romance with George Clooney. But she's smart enough not to make any predictions about the future, 'cause, as she's no doubt learned, that never ends well (see Canalis, Elisabetta and Larson, Sarah).

  "I don't think about that. I live in the present moment," the onetime wrestler and "Dancing With the Stars" hoofer tells People. "That was my New Year's resolution ... and it's worked out pretty good so far."

  That embrace-the-now concept apparently helped land her the commitment-avoiding Oscar winner, who we're assuming can smell desperation at 20 paces.

  "I was actually not really searching for a boyfriend," says Keibler, 31, who made her public debut with Clooney, 50, earlier this month at the Toronto International Film Festival.

  She also coyly opines that she prefers a boyfriend who has a "good sense of humor," is "genuine and honest" and "likes to have a great time no matter what they're doing."

  As for George, who recently dressed down a reporter for daring to ask him a personal question, he seems to be taking a similarly worry-free approach to life.

  "I find that as you get older, you start to simplify things in general," he tells Parade, which might explain why he's dancing a leggy blonde and not a leggy blond astrophysicist.
