What Women Want? Mel Gibson Reportedly Dating Stuntwoman

Has the Hollywood dating pool become so shallow that Mel Gibson is truly the best option out there for a vibrant, athletic young lady?

The rage-y Oscar winner was photographed on Sunday night cozying up to a pretty brunette while scarfing down sushi at Nobu in Malibu.

According to TMZ, the seemingly judgment-impaired lady in question is actress-stuntwoman Ashley Cusato, whose resume includes doubling in action scenes for the likes of Jennifer Aniston and Anne Hathaway.

Mel, 56, has apparently been seeing the athletic looker for about a month, and is rumored to be so smitten that he's already introduced her to several family members.

Gibson insiders say the meet-and-greets went swimmingly, and his clan loves her and is sure she'll "be around for a long, long time."

Which is perhaps what they said about Oksana Grigorieva, the mother of Mel's nearly 3-year-old daughter, Lucia. Too bad that ended with Gibson accused of striking Grigorieva while she held their child, leaked death threats and a messy custody battle.

On the plus side, Cusato is working toward her black belt in karate, so she can hold her own, should she need to.

In August, Gibson was linked to Italian singer-model Nadia Lanfranconi. He finalized his divorce from Robyn, the mother of six of his children, in late 2011, and she reportedly walked away with half of his estimated $800 million fortune.
