Halle's Hot French Kiss With Hot French Co-Star

Halle Berry didn't have to look too far to find romance after her breakup with model Gabriel Aubry, the father of her button-cute daughter Nahla, 2.

People magazine says the Oscar winner is now hot and heavy with Olivier Martinez, her leading man on the currently filming drama "Dark Tide."

The ridiculously pretty pair were photographed in a romantic lip-lock on Sunday after spending the day out and about in the actor's hometown of Paris.

"It was the classic 'I'm going to kiss you here in a dark corner' move," relays a spy with a flair for the melodramatic. "And she was waiting to be kissed."

The two-minute make-out session was apparently just a saliva-soaked intermission as they made their way to Martinez's digs.

Earlier in the day, Halle, 44, and Olivier, also 44, were spotted strolling around a flea market (in the big-screen romance version of events, she would see a locket just like the one her grandma once wore, and he would secretly buy it for her and surprise her later, thus guaranteeing some smooching action later on).

"They had their arms around each other as they walked," a bystander tells the mag. "They were both smiling and laughing. Their body language was very flirtatious. They definitely seemed like a couple -- absolutely looked like more than friends."

Before the pucker moment, they enjoyed dinner at an "intimate" restaurant and a tour of the City of Lights on Martinez's motorcycle.

Rumors of an on-set hookup have been bubbling for months, with most of the chatter centering on a so-called "love triangle" involving Aubry, who has traveled with Berry from South Africa to London during filming to remain close to Nahla.

"Olivier is desperately trying to work his way into her heart," a source recently told the National Enquirer. "Halle really likes Olivier, and he's been coming on to her big-time ... Halle doesn't know whether to keep trying with Gabriel or give it up for Olivier because he's sexy, smart and mature."

But despite claims that Gabriel is "steaming with jealousy" over her closeness with Olivier, Berry herself has insisted their focus is now solely on Nahla.

"We have always been friends, we're still friends, we love each other very much, and we both share the love of our lives," she told the September issue of Vogue. "And we are both 100 percent committed to being the best parents we can be."

As for Martinez, who dated (and supported) Kylie Minogue during her battle with breast cancer and is probably best known to American audiences as the handsome rogue who Richard Gere bonked on the noggin with a snow globe in "Unfaithful," he's "poured on the charm and compliments and told Halle she is the sexiest woman he's ever met."

Before Aubry, Berry's relationship track record was so dismal that she told Oprah in 2004 that she would never marry again.

Her declaration came after messy divorces from baseballer David Justice (she filed for a restraining order against him and has said she contemplated suicide on the day their split was finalized) and musician Eric Benet (he cheated on her during the marriage and went into treatment for sex addiction).

"I'm not done with love, but I refuse to settle," Halle explained to Vogue. "I am a hopeless romantic. And I won't stop till I get it right."
