When Adam fought to gain custody of baby Krishna, he started from square one. After all, Padma had been reticent about even publicly naming Adam as the girl's father. So Adam sued the "Top Chef" host for full custody. He told the court that Padma had refused to put his name on the birth certificate and made him sign a restrictive temporary-visitation agreement that gave him only a few hours a week with his daughter. The final agreement had Krishna's last name changed to Lakshmi-Dell and gave Adam extra custody and visitation rights.
