On-screen, she's usually shooting guns or swinging swords alongside the guys, but actress Jaimie Alexander has a girlie side too.
"I really like the pampering side of being feminine," the actress, 29, tells Wonderwall. "I love getting dolled up."
But Alexander -- who's best known for adrenaline-fueled, action-oriented roles like Chris Hemsworth's comrade, Lady Sif, in "Thor" and Arnold Schwarzenegger's deputy in "The Last Stand" (on Blu Ray May 21) -- admits that even when she glams it up, she easily reverts back to being a guys' girl. "After the premiere for 'Iron Man 3,' I went to Del Taco," she laughs. "I was like, 'OK, that's enough of being in a dress! Time to get in sweat pants and a T-shirt.'"
Alexander says she's comfortable with frequently being "the only girl on set."

"I got teased like a little sister from everyone, but then I can dish it back," she says. "I have four brothers, so when ['The Last Stand' co-star] Johnny [Knoxville] teased me, I would just punch him in the arm as hard as I could. That usually stops the conversation right there."
The flip side of that is that the stunning actress isn't fully at ease around her female peers.
"If I got put in a cast with a bunch of females, I would probably just completely sit in a corner, freaked out," she admits. "I'm not extremely feminine, and sometimes that makes me uncomfortable being around a lot of girls. I think that's because I grew up with four brothers. For me, being around the guys is just like being at home at my house in Texas, with my mom and my brothers."
Despite her troubles acclimating to other women, there is one important gal in Jaimie's life: her rescue dog, Bonnie, named in honor of another tough chick, Bonnie Parker of the bank-robbing duo Bonnie and Clyde.
"I usually don't like to be tied down with anything -- I'm very fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants," she says. "But this little dog just sort of happened in my life. The people that had her let her go, and I found her. ... It's actually taught me a lot about what it's like to take care of something and have something depend on you."
That life lesson may come in handy if things continue heating up between Jaimie and beau Peter Facinelli, who has three daughters with ex-wife Jennie Garth. In turn, Facinelli has taught his new leading lady a thing or two about putting her increasing celebrity -- she'll be vying with Natalie Portman for the God of Thunder's heart in "Thor: The Dark World" later this year -- to good use.
"He definitely uses his pull with social media to help a lot of people, which I think is a very admirable quality about him -- it isn't just self-serving," she says.
