Mom-to-Be Gisele Bundchen Passes Written Pilot TestUSMagazine, November 2, 2009Related: News, Gisele BundchenBaby on board!Eight-months-pregnant Gisele Bundchen is one step closer to becoming a pilot.Find out what other stars are due soonThe supermodel mom-to-be has passed the written test (a multiple-choice exam covering regulations, navigation and aeronautics) necessary to earn a helicopter license, the Boston Herald reports."She is one of the best pilots I've seen in a long time," Shoreline Aviation president Keith Douglass said of the star, 29, who has been taking chopper lessons at Massachusetts' Marshfield Airport for two months.See photos of today's top news storiesAccording to Douglass, Bundchen -- who is expecting her first child with hubby Tom Brady, 32, around Christmas -- is hoping to get her license so that she could have a shorter commute between Boston, where the couple lives, and New York City, where she often works.See photos of Tom and Gisele's most romantic momentsBefore she can be fully licensed, Bundchen must complete 20 hours of flight lessons with an instructor and then 10 hours of solo flight. An additional 10 hours of either dual or solo flying is required for pilots, like Bundchen, who don't already have a certificate to fly airplanes.
