No drama? No airtime! The forgotten NYC housewife

NEW YORK (AP) -- There will be someone missing from the upcoming reunion episode of the reality television show "The Real Housewives of New York City."

That's Jennifer Gilbert, an event planner quietly introduced in recent weeks on the Bravo TV show as someone arranging a party for housewife Jill Zarin.

Gilbert wasn't just tapped to organize a party but to be a full-fledged cast member on the show's third season. But she says cast members needed to "scream the loudest or say the meanest thing" to get airtime.

TV crews followed her for three months at her homes in New York City and in the Hamptons. But viewers rarely saw her.

Bravo says it hasn't been decided whether Gilbert will return for the fourth season.

The finale airs Thursday. A reunion episode will air June 10.
