Milla Jovovich Getting Hitched Because of Daughter
So, what finally convinced Milla Jovovich to tie the knot with director-beau Paul W.S. Anderson after eight years of togetherness? "Having a baby. That pretty much decided it," she tells the London Guardian of 21-month-old daughter Ever, before adding with a laugh, "So we don't have a little bastard running around." The "Resident Evil" beauty, who's saying "I do" on Aug. 22 in a small ceremony at the Los Angeles home she shares with Anderson (this will be her third walk down the aisle), says parenthood has given her life meaning. "There's no mystery to who I am anymore," she explains. "You know, you go through your whole life looking for an identity and then you become a mother and you're like, 'Oh … I'm a mom.' So no matter what, that's what I am. If everything else fades, I'm still a mom. The acting, the modeling, the career -- I'd give it all up tomorrow for her. Everything else is secondary, which makes it all the more enjoyable."
