ET has the latest...
Admist Internet reports, actress Brittany Murphy, 32, has died and the Los Angeles Coroners office confirms to ET that they have a preliminary death report, that came from a hospital, for a Caucasian female in her 30s with the name Brittany Murphy but cannot confirm it is the actress until they establish kinship.
Ashton Kutcher, who once dated the actress, tweeted the following message:
"2day the world lost a little piece of sunshine. My deepest condolences go out 2 Brittany's family, her husband, & her amazing mother Sharon ... see you on the other side kid."
Murphy is best known for her roles in ‘Clueless,' ‘Girl, Interrupted,' and ‘8 Mile.'
Murphy married her husband, screenwriter Simon Monjack in May of 2007.
