Russell Crowe not making beautiful music with Natalie Imbruglia
Since his (still unconfirmed) split from wife Danielle Spencer, Russell Crowe has taken to Twitter to deny reports linking him to Dita Von Teese and Katie Lee. Now, he's shutting down speculation that he was flirting up a storm with fellow Aussie Natalie Imbruglia while partying in Los Angeles last weekend.
The London Mirror says the "Les Miserables" star enjoyed a sing-a-long with Natalie into the wee hours of the morning during a party in his suite at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
"They were all over one another and doing little to hide their flirting," alleges a source. "They were being really playful and jokey with one another. You could see they really hit it off. … They were singing really loudly together around the piano, belting out some show tunes, and they looked pretty cozy when everyone left them to it."
Last month, the pair posed together at the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards (left).
But Crowe insists nothing untoward is going on.
"I am not having an affair with nor am I dating Natalie Imbruglia," he angrily tweeted on Thursday. "She has been a friend for years. No flirting, no whispers, total BULL----."
