Kimye Kruise Around Paris

"We don't do anything for ratings." That was Kim Kardashian, explaining to Oprah Winfrey how she had only the best intentions when she became Mrs. Kris Humphries in an E!-filmed extravaganza. But Kim didn't exactly aim for a low profile while taking in the sights of Paris with boyfriend Kanye West last weekend.

Paparazzi snapped the two driving around in a white convertible Lamborghini that costs enough to fund several four-year college scholarships, with plenty of cash left over for beer and Funyuns.

According to People, Kimye popped into a Parisian Lamborghini dealership to pick up the car, which is similar to the ridiculously lavish vehicle Kardashian reportedly bought West for his recent birthday (estimated price: $750,000).

But they might have been better off hopping on the Metro. The pair's attempt to cruise around the City of Light was stopped by a traffic jam, and it took them an hour to go fewer than three miles to the Eiffel Tower.

"Basically, the car is like a jet airplane," a spy laughs to the mag, "but they didn't plan on Paris traffic on a Sunday afternoon."

Observes another bystander, "It was actually kind of funny. I mean, how often do you see anyone behind the wheel of a Lamborghini looking kind of bored?"

On the plus side, the slow-motion motoring meant shutterbugs had ample opportunity to capture their PDA.

Upon reaching their destination, Kim pulled the usual tourist move: tweeting a photo of herself in front of the landmark, albeit while riding shotgun in a luxury car.
