See you in court!
Sharon Stone has been sued by her children's former nanny for harassment and wrongful termination, but a rep for the actress says that's "absurd."
Erlinda Elemen, who was fired by the actress in February 2011, alleges Stone, 54, insulted her Filipino heritage and demanded she not talk to her kids, The Wrap reports.
"This is an absurd lawsuit that has been filed by a disgruntled ex-employee who is obviously looking to get money any way she can," Stone's rep said in a statement to Us Weekly. "After she was terminated approximately one and a half years ago, she filed claims for alleged disability and workers compensation. Now, she is obviously looking for another opportunity to cash in."
"This is a frivolous lawsuit for absurd claims that are made-up and fabricated," the statement continued. "Sharon Stone will be completely vindicated in court." Stone has three adopted sons, Roan, 12, Laird, 7, and Quinn, 5.
Elemen's attorney, Solomon Gresen, however, said the lawsuit will also draw attention to the issue of overtime pay for domestic employees. The suit alleges Stone accused Elemen of "stealing" the overtime pay.

"A common problem for employees in household occupations concerns the receipt of overtime and other wages," Gresen told The Wrap. "When a celebrity does it, it only serves to draw attention to the fact that there are thousands of people who are being underpaid. Hopefully, the publicity generated from this lawsuit will be of benefit to others and will prompt some change in the lives of ordinary citizens."
The former nanny is seeking unspecified damages.
