With the news that Nancy Kerrigan's father died following an alleged altercation with her brother Mark, Kerrigan's fellow skater Tara Lipinski offers her words of support.
“My sincerest, heartfelt condolences go out to Nancy and her family during this difficult time," Lipinski says. "Nancy's father was always a dedicated and loving supporter of her's throughout her career and her life. She was a huge influence on me when I was an up-and-coming skater and I was extremely fortunate, later in my career, to have shared the ice with someone that I looked up to so much. As a fellow member of the skating community, I wish her the best and offer her my support. I pray that she finds strength and peace in her life while dealing with this devastating tragedy."
