Chris Brown's bodyguard sues Drake over nightclub brawl
If you thought we were done hearing about new lawsuits stemming from that New York nightclub fight between Drake and Chris Brown, think again. A bodyguard who was protecting Breezy the night of the dustup at W.i.P. last year filed suit against Drake and the club's owners in New York on Monday. Patrick Strickland claims that there was "a substantial and unjustifiable risk that a mass altercation would occur between the two camps," and, therefore, the owners should have therefore kept the groups' parties further apart. Strickland, who reportedly suffered a head injury, is one of many victims from the evening who have taken their grievances to court: NBA star Tony Parker is suing over an eye injury, Brown and Drake are suing each other, and half a dozen bystanders are suing over various injuries.
