Isla Fisher and Carey Mulligan tried to keep 'Gatsby' costumes for themselves
"A" for effort, ladies. One of the most eye-popping aspects of Baz Luhrmann's lavish production, "The Great Gatsby," are the richly colored, silken jazz age gowns, created by Oscar-nominated costume designer Catherine Martin, who collaborated on the looks with Miuccia Prada. The glamor was apparently not lost on stars Isla Fisher and Carey Mulligan. "I think we were all so enamored with the costumes and sets that we wanted to hang around even when we weren't shooting," Fisher tells Hello! magazine. "Carey and I were plotting how to steal our costumes and sneak them off set. Sadly, that didn't work out too well. But they were all great. I had a really great time."
