Sixteen years later, with one Emmy, four Oscar nominations, and an Oscar win for "The Reader," Kate is still one of the most sought-after actresses in the business. After first love Stephen Tredre died of bone cancer (Kate skipped the premiere of "Titanic" to attend his funeral), she wed assistant film director Jim Threapleton. They welcomed a daughter, Mia, two years later. But it wasn't meant to be: Kate and Jim split the following year. Just months after the breakup, Kate attended the premiere of her film "Iris" with "American Beauty" director Sam Mendes on her arm. They wed in May 2003 and welcomed a son, Joe, later that year. In 2008, Mendes directed his wife -- and "Titanic" co-star Leonardo DiCaprio! -- in "Revolutionary Road," but by March 2010, the Hollywood power couple was through. Kate rebounded briefly with British model Louis Dowler before falling in love with Richard Branson's nephew, Ned Rocknroll, while vacationing at Branson's private island home, which famously caught fire with the Oscar winner and her children inside. In December 2012, she tied the knot for the third time. The actress welcomed a child -- her first with Ned -- on Dec. 7, 2013. She named him Bear.
