Formidable champion of guy-liner Adam Lambert made an untraditional career choice, risking his "American Idol" following by coming out as gay in the beginning of his career. Yet, in the new issue of Details (on stands Oct. 27), the crooner also cops to being a ladies' man, dodging pelted lingerie and offers for make-out sessions from his lady fans. Go figure! See how he explains this sexy paradox below, and then check out the rest of the coverage on the brand new Details.com.
Adam Lambert Opens Up to Details
On feeling ladies lingerie ... and really feeling it:
“A lot of times I’ll pick up a bra and play with it during a song. It’s a way to connect. It’s like, ‘I threw my bra up onstage and you’re spinning it around. Cool. Yea.’”
You know, it's just his *job* to channel raw, wanton sexuality:
“It’s all fantasy -- that’s what entertainment is. I’m here to entertain you, and if my sexuality is apparent and you respond to it, and you’re attracted to it, then great, I’m doing my job. It ain’t happening anyway!”
On those super-duper controlling "American Idol" fans:
“There’s a feeling of entitlement [with the fans] because they voted to get us where we are. But you know what? I am responsible for what I created on the show -- you voted for what I created, and thank you, but I created it, you didn’t.”
