Billy Ray Cyrus and his longtime wife, Tish, are headed their separate ways.
Tish has filed for divorce, seeking an end to the couple's 19-year marriage, reports TMZ. According to her filing, Tish cites "irreconcilable differences” as the cause for their split and she's asking for full physical and legal custody of the couple's only minor child, Noah Cyrus, 13.
Billy Ray and Tish wed in 1993 and had three children together during their union, Miley, Noah and Braison. Billy Ray adopted Tish's two children from her previous marriage, Trace and Brandi.
This isn't the first time divorce reports have surfaced in the Cyrus home. Back in 2010, Billy Ray announced that he was filing for divorce. But then in March 2011, Billy Ray announced during an appearance on "The View" that he was dropping the filing and focused on putting his family back together.
At the time, the couple had been plagued by reports of infidelity and claims that Tish had cheated on Billy Ray with rocker Bret Michaels. Both denied having an affair.
So far, no comment from the couple's most famous offspring, Miley. Well, kind of. The 20-year-old star, who appeared at the Myspace relaunch party in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, tweeted to her father on Thursday just hours before news of the divorce filing broke online, posting, "@billyraycyrus, since your texts and email obviously aren't working would you like to talk like this."
She later deleted the tweet. Billy Ray and Tish have yet to comment on their split.
