Singer/songwriter Bruno Mars has been arrested in Las Vegas on suspicion of drug possession.

The "Just The Way You Are" star was allegedly caught with narcotics after he was confronted by security guards in a bathroom at the Hard Rock Hotel in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Police were called and Mars was detained on suspicion of drug possession, according to the Las Vegas Journal Review.
The star, whose real name is Peter Hernandez, is believed to have been released later that day. It is not yet known whether he will face charges over the incident.
