With her soul-baring, boyfriend drama-filled new album "Red" a monster-hit, could Taylor Swift be taking a break from writing thank-you notes to song-inspiring ex-squeezes Jake Gyllenhaal and John Mayer to gather material for her follow-up?
Rumblings have begun that she's rebounded from her recent split with Conor Kennedy by spending quality time with British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, the opening act on her upcoming tour.
The London Daily Mirror claims the pair have been growing "increasingly close," citing as evidence the "RED" tattoo that Sheeran, 21, added to his bicep a few days back.
Swift's rep didn't respond to our request for comment on the romance rumors, but a source insists to Gossip Cop that she's not hooking up with the ginger-topped musician.
As for Conor, 18, more details have emerged about his breakup with Taylor, 22, specifically, who did the dumping.
"His friends have said it's over," an insider at Kennedy's private high school tells People mag, presumably via a note passed in study hall. "I have the feeling she ended it."
Swift, a longtime fan of the Kennedy family (and the new owner of a $4.5 million estate next to the clan's Hyannis Port, Mass., compound), was often on the defensive during the short-lived romance, whether she was denying kidnapping him from boarding school for a little snuggle-time or crashing his cousin's wedding.
Still, none of that would necessarily be a deal-breaker for Swift, who tells the December issue of Cosmopolitan what she won't tolerate from a boyfriend. Click on to find out what she said …
