J.Lo's Over-the-Top Birthday Surprise for Dancer Beau

• It's become all too clear over the years that Jennifer Lopez doesn't like to be alone. She not only rebounded lickety-split with Casper "Call Me Beau" Smart following her breakup with Marc Anthony, but she's remained suctioned to his side, even while filming her "Inception"-like, writhing body-packed "Dance Again" video.

  And J.Lo is making sure her newly promoted backup hoofer knows how much his company and moves are appreciated. According to People, she kicked off festivities for his 25th birthday on Friday by surprising him with a customized white Dodge Ram pickup truck.

  "Jennifer had planned a fun day to celebrate Casper's birthday," says a source, who notes that Lopez, 42, "knew that Casper really wanted a truck, and Casper was very excited about the generous gift."

  No word on whether J.Lo got a promotional discount on the vehicle. You'll recall that she shills for Fiat, which merged with Chrysler, which manufactures the Dodge Ram. Either way, it seems like a fate-tempting choice for Smart.

  The hoofer is currently on probation after pleading no contest to street racing, and he has previously been caught driving without a valid license.

  But maybe Jennifer was just tired of the wear-and-tear on her Bentley. Earlier this year, one of his pals told Us Weekly that even when Smart is behind the wheel of her luxury ride, "He drives like a maniac."

  Anyhoo, after spending Friday afternoon shopping in Beverly Hills, Jennifer treated Casper to a birthday meal with friends at an Italian restaurant.

  "Casper was so excited about his new truck that he decided to drive it to dinner," shares the spy, adding that Jennifer, who was riding shotgun in a low-cut baby-blue dress, "was smiling about Casper's excitement."

  The day before, J.Lo was also sharing in the excitement of youth. With Casper in tow, she posed for pictures with 4-year-old twins Emme and Max during a visit to the Easter Bunny at shopping mecca The Grove in Los Angeles (click through the pics above to see).

  A few hours later, they turned up at the opening of a new restaurant and lounge at The Grove, where Lopez was snapped shaking the hand of Arnold Schwarzenegger as Casper looked on.
