Rift Rumors Swirl Around Rihanna and Chris

For the sake of our sanity and yours, we'll try to keep this as succinct as possible: There may be trouble in Rihanna's back-on, rubbed-in-our-faces romance with Chris Brown.

Yep, right there with ya: shock, surprise, disbelief. Sigh.

It all started with a report that Brown has rendezvoused with ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran in Paris this week. That purportedly prompted Rihanna to tweet then delete the following messages: "Goodbye mutha[bleeper]," and "You give, you get, then you give it the [bleep] back. ... Examine what you tolerate."

RiRi returned to Los Angeles on Wednesday, and the following morning, she tellingly opined, "Never underestimate a man's ability to make you feel guilty for his mistakes."

Of course, it's too much to hope that she had an epiphany and now sees this reunion for what it is: epically dysfunctional and potentially dangerous. At least she has Twitter and Instagram to help her work through it.
