Halle Berry's battle with Gabriel Aubry over custody of their 3-year-old daughter, Nahla, has been ugly, but apparently we ain't seen nothing yet. TMZ says the actress has ditched longtime attorney Neal Hersh and hired so-called "legal bulldozer" Stephen Kolodny, who represented Mel Gibson in his throw-down with ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva.
The reason for the switch? Halle wants to go "nuclear" on Gabriel, who was recently restricted to supervised visits with the toddler. The actress is reportedly hoping to get the legal go-ahead to move Nahla to France, the native country of her rumored fiancé, Olivier Martinez.
Aubry, however, isn't too worried about the change, according to Radar Online.
"Halle was unhappy that the family law judge hasn't made a ruling about her request to move to France," says a source. "Gabe thinks this will help his case, because he thinks it shows how desperate and impatient she is. ... He feels that Nahla is the collateral damage in all of this, and that breaks his heart."
