John Lennon tooth sold to Canadian dentist

WENN, Monday, November 7, 2011, 8:11am (PST)

  • One of John Lennon's teeth has sold for $30,000 at auction.

    The tooth was snapped up by Canadian dentist Michael Zuk at the sale in Stockport, England on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011, with the rotten molar fetching more than double its expected selling price.

    Avid tooth collector Zuk, who bought the item via telephone bids, says, "Most people would say I was crazy, but I think it's fantastic."
