May 31, 2012 started out as just an ordinary day for Miley and Liam. The singer had just recorded a free online concert for her Backyard Sessions series. "About 20 minutes after ['Lilac Wine'] -- it's one of Liam's favorite songs -- he asked me to marry him," Miley told Jay Leno. "I had no idea! He was sitting there, and I'm like, 'He's looking at me funny!' And then I knew." Her engagement ring is a 3.5-carat, cushion-cut sparkler. "I'm so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam," Miley told People.
