For Brad and Angelina, Nothing Says Romance Like Fish Soup
Sure, it's wall-to-wall stars at the Cannes Film Festival, but even the most seasoned celebrity watchers can't help but swoon when in proximity to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. On Saturday night, the A-list amours drew an excited crowd as they stepped out sans their six kids for dinner at upscale eatery Tetou.
Brad and Angelina, who are in town promoting "The Tree of Life" and "Kung Fu Panda 2," respectively, enjoyed bouillabaisse, wine and a tart for dessert while seated at a private table in the rear of the restaurant, says Us, which adds that the suit-clad, open-shirted actor did the ordering.
"They seemed very happy," says a spy. "They seem completely in love, still, which is so nice to see. Their energy is amazing. He held her seat out when they arrived."
As the megastars exited amid a flashbulb explosion and crush of autograph-seeking fans, Pitt, who's still styling a Steve McQueen-by-way-of-"Jersey Shore" look, reached back to take Jolie's hand before they climbed into a waiting car.
Their "amazing energy" was still going strong when they amped up the PDA for Monday's "Tree" premiere. Alas, while Angie's dramatic, slit-to-there Versace gown earned rave reviews, Brad's film did not.
