Gavin Rossdale reacts to Courtney Love dating claims

Gwen Stefani's husband Gavin Rossdale has taken to his Facebook page to assure fans his marriage to Gwen Stefani is not in trouble, following revelations he was dating Courtney Love at the start of their relationship.

The Hole singer revealed last month that she was so smitten with Rossdale she considered marrying him -- and insists Stefani was aware she was romancing the former Bush star.

In a candid interview with Howard Stern, Love revealed, "I had this vision of marrying Gavin Rossdale one time. [We dated for] eight months ... We had a really good time ... He was lovely ... We did like each other quite a bit."

Rossdale, who has two sons with Stefani --3-year-old Kingston and 20-month-old Zuma -- has moved swiftly to quash any rumors his marriage to the singer is in trouble following the revelations.

Taking to his Facebook page, Rossdale writes, "Gwen and Gavin Rossdale would like to assure their fans that anything that may have occurred prior to their marriage has no impact on their current situation. All is well with the Rossdale family."
