What "Girls" fan could forget the short-lived marriage between Jessa and Thomas John -- a relationship that began with Jessa making out with her friend Marnie on the floor of the utterly disdainful Thomas' douchey penthouse-type pad?
It looks like Stone Fox Bride, a bridal couture collection for women who aren't "into uptown. Or anything puffy or fluffy," is banking not only on the hope that their target demo remembers the Jessa-Marnie spit-swap -- but that they emulate Jessa's hippie-chic style. In new pics for Stone Fox's spring collection, "Girls" star Jemima Kirke shares an open-mouthed kiss with jewelry designer Pamela Love. In another image, an otherwise nude Kirke models a sheer lace gown called "The Jemima."
Explaining Kirke's involvement with the campaign to the website Into the Gloss, Stone Fox Bride's owner Molly Guy said: "Jemima is a painter-turned-actress who believes that, in her past life, she was a child prostitute and junkie. (In real life she wears fancy cashmere sweaters and is a Brooklyn mother-of-two married to a nice Jewish lawyer.)"
