Josh Hutcherson: 'I could meet a guy and be like, 'whoa, I'm attracted to this person'
His character is definitely in love with Katniss in "The Hunger Games," but in real life, Josh Hutcherson has an open mind when it comes to relationships. "Maybe I could say right now I'm 100 percent straight. But who knows? In a [bleeping] year, I could meet a guy and be like, 'Whoa, I'm attracted to this person,'" he says in the new issue of Out magazine (via People). "I've met guys all the time that I'm like, 'Damn, that's a good-looking guy,' you know? I've never been, like, 'Oh, I want to kiss that guy.' I really love women. But I think defining yourself as 100 percent anything is kind of near-sighted and close-minded." Which may help explain his motivation for creating the Straight But Not Narrow organization, a charity and activism group that helps show young people how to "become allies of their LBGT peers," according to the SBNN.org website.
"People should simply be allowed to be the most authentic version of themselves," the website explains, "without the risk of being made to feel that they are anything less than awesome."
