  • Music mogul Phil Ramone has been hospitalized in New York after suffering an aneurysm, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The award-winning producer, 72, is in critical care.

Ramone is best known for his work with Tony Bennett, Aretha Franklin and Billy Joel, among others. He has won 14 Grammy Awards, including Producer of the Year in 1981. He also famously recorded Marilyn Monroe's rendition of "Happy Birthday," which the actress sang to President John F. Kennedy in 1962.

Prior to his health crisis, Ramone had been working on new albums and compilations by George Michael, Dionne Warwick and Bennett.
