No Tattoo Rue For Eva -- Yet
For many smitten celebrities, there's no greater way to prove it's true love than by permanently etching your beloved's name on your body, despite the odds of the romance tanking long before the ink fades. The latest celebrity to join a regrets-filled club that includes everyone from Johnny Depp ("Winona Forever") to Tommy Lee (a private parts-inked tribute to Pam Anderson): Eva Longoria, who this week sparked speculation that she's lasered off one of the marks made in honor of now-estranged husband Tony Parker.
The tat in question sits on her wrist, with roman numerals commemorating her July 7, 2007 wedding date (the San Antonio Spurs stars has the same "VII VII MMVII" on his ring finger). But it seems the lawsuit-slapped "Desperate Housewives" star hasn't obliterated the ink just yet.
"Just so everyone knows, I still have all my tattoos!" she tweeted on Tuesday. "Nothing is being removed, although I am always up for more tattoos! ;)"
No word on whether Eva will come up with an alternate design to blot out the date, a la Depp's "Wino Forever." She also has to decide what to do with the "Nine" on the back of her neck (Parker's jersey number) and his initials, which she once cooed were in a private place, but "he gets to view [them] on a very regular basis!" Something tells us he won't get visitation in the divorce.
