Motherhood is more of a challenge than Shakira expectedFrom changing diapers to getting her body back into prime hip-shaking form, Shakira is stunned at how much tougher it is to be a mom than she ever knew. The 36-year-old "The Voice" judge opened up to Us Weekly recently, joking that "Nobody told me [babies] needed to be changed so often!" before admitting that her new son, Gerard Pique, is "a great, great baby" and "an easy one." Still, she says, "nobody told me it would be this hard. It takes a lot of energy from you. But I love it, I'm really enjoying every bit of it. It's just that it's not as idyllic as everybody tells you, but also not as horrible as everyone tells you." As far as the baby weight, Shakira points out that "our mothers and grandmothers weren't under the pressure that women of today are after delivering a baby." And while her own mom never bothered to get her old figure back because "my dad likes a little meat on the bone," she doesn't feel she has that luxury because of her job."It's different, I have a career, and that's the only part that's been a bit stressful, because I knew that I'd have to come back here to do 'The Voice' two months after I delivered a baby," she says. "I didn't have my four months maternity like every woman on earth has. So I'm not trying to complain, but it's been a process full of challenges in my life."

The pol responded to the tweet in the local news. "I would say that Carrie Underwood will stick to singing, I'll stick to lawmaking," he quipped. His response only prompted Underwood to become more irate."I should stick to singing?" she tweeted. "Wow ... sorry, I'm just a tax paying citizen concerned for the safety of my family."

James Franco's NYU prof proves it's easier to burgle celebs than to serve them court papersIf ex-NYU professor Jose Angel Santana had a few members of "The Bling Ring" at his disposal while he was attempting to sue James Franco for allegedly making "disparaging and inaccurate public statements" about him after he gave the actor a "D," perhaps his lawsuit would not be DOA. Unfortunately, Alexis Neiers was apparently too busy coaching Emma Watson on playing her in "The Bling Ring" movie to help Santana find Franco so he could serve him legal papers. A judge recently tossed out the lawsuit on grounds of "lack of personal jurisdiction," according to The Hollywood Reporter. But that was only after repeated attempts by the plaintiff to tell Franco he was being sued. Court documents reveal that while Franco was promoting multiple films at various events for months, papers were instead served to an address Santana's lawyers had found online. That prompted one of Franco's attorneys to suggest, "Gossip blogs are frankly not the most accurate sources upon which to base one's due diligence." On the other hand, as we learned from the "Bling Ring," gossip blogs combined with Google Earth and the keyword search know-how of six high school kids is a failsafe combo when hunting down a celebrity address.
