There's no shortage of remakes on television these days. "90210" ... "Melrose Place" ... "Parenthood" ... and let's not forget "Cougar Town!" (Oh, that's not a remake? Feels familiar.) However, it was announced yesterday that the 1985 Brat Pack melodrama "St. Elmo's Fire" will also be added to the league of low-hanging fruit-cum-TV-shows, and honestly, there are no complaints here! We love "St. Elmo's Fire;" it's chock full of yuppie greed, infidelity and Rob Lowe in earrings -- who could ask for more? Not to mention it boasts of perhaps the most boss, epic theme song of all time (and there was this).
