Heidi Klum

Perhaps Germany’s hottest export since schnitzel, Heidi Klum started her ascent to supermodel at 18 when she won a contract at anational modeling contest. After strutting her stuff around Europe, she — and the breasts she nicknamed Hanz and Franz — moved to Manhattan in 1993. By 1998, she booked the cover of Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit issue. The Victoria’s Secret stunner and fragrance creator has dabbled in acting, appearing on TV as Michael J. Fox’s love interest on Spin City and in movies like Ella Enchanted and Blow Dry. Her love life is best described as an international mixed bag. Her first marriage to celebrity hairstylist Ric Pipino in 1997 ended amicably in 2002 and was followed by a PDA-heavy stint dating Red Hot Chili Peppers singer Anthony Kiedis. In 2003, she started dating Italian multimillionaire Flavio Briatore, 23 years her senior, and was expecting her first child nine months later. The couple split a few months before daughter Leni was born, but British singer Seal had already stepped into the role of boyfriend. A few weeks after Project Runway, the hit Bravo fashion design competition she hosted and produced, debuted in 2004, Seal pulled off an elaborate proposal in a Canadian snow cave. They married in 2005 and welcomed three children (sons Henry and Johan, daughter Lou Sulola). Considering they renewed their vows every year, wore couples costumes to her annual Halloween benefit and did a televised duet, their 2012 split was shocking. Now dating her bodyguard Martin Kirsten, she hosts Germany's Next Top Model and will join the judging panel of America’s Got Talent in 2013.
