Forgive us, Paris Hilton, but we have to admit that your recent reunion with Doug Reinhardt left us a bit disappointed. Not necessarily because he suspiciously smells of Tool Water, but mainly because we've long counted on you as the veritable revolving door of new sleazy boyfriends. So, in the name of nostalgia, let's look back at the many fine young gentleman who've courted the planet's most popular socialite. We give you: The Paris Hilton Hall of Man Trophies.
The relationship between Paris and Benji Madden almost seemed like it would work, seeing as her old BFF Nicole Richie had already snatched up Benji's brother Joel. And wouldn't a "Simple Life" season featuring Good Charlotte babies have been, like, hot? That wish, along with this relationship, was just too good to be true.
The relationship between Paris Hilton and Nick Carter expressed an innocence that only the union of two blonde-haired, blue-eyed American pop culture fixtures could evoke. Except for the alleged domestic violence thing. We're glad she told Nick to beat it!
In 2002, Paris was briefly engaged to Tommy Hilfiger spokesmodel Jason Shaw. We're somewhat surprised they broke up, considering their careers (we'll define Paris' as, say, Huckster Heiress) sound compatibly fluffy on a resume. His appearance in one of her sex tapes, however, lends some extra legitimacy to their relationship, seeing she only shares that with the most special-est ones.
After her breakup from actual model Jason Shaw, Paris took an interest in aspiring model and pizza delivery boy Alex Vaggo. Whoever said power was sexy clearly didn't know that being plain ol' hot is even sexier.
Paris' Australian designer ex Tyler Atkins gave cool a new name with this gem of a snapshot (from a photoshoot he charitably held with paparazzi). He could be totally cool, but he kinda just makes me want to say, "Mufasa!"
Whispers of a romance between Adrian Grenier and Paris Hilton didn't go on much longer after this photo was snapped, but it did give us a preview for what was to come in future relationships: baiting paparazzi.
Stavros Niarchos is one of those ever-recycled boyfriends, gracing the arms of Paris, an Olsen twin, and a Lohan alike. What his career as "Greek shipping heir" actually means we're not sure, but we're pleased that he wasn't just after Paris for her money. Must've been true love, right?
Arizona Cardinals quarterback Matt Leinart has dated his fair share of famous chicks, however, his romance with Paris in 2006 apparently gave him a little notoriety he didn't want. At the time, his publicist denied the two were together despite multiple reports stating otherwise. What, Matt, her commitment to African relief wasn't wholesome enough for you?
Most famous, perhaps, for his brief stint as an MTV VJ, Simon Rex seemed like a potential perfect mate for Paris Hilton, seeing as his first credit appears in an adult film, and he, too, proudly makes really questionable music -- under rap alias "Dirt Nasty," natch.
Paris also dated Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst for a time, taking him and his tough guy act to all the fancy-schmanciest restaurants in L.A. Fred also famously dated Britney Spears, lending further credibility to that mainstream-loathing M.O. of his.
Rick Salomon was the Paris ex responsible for distributing the now-infamous sex tape, "1 Night in Paris." Which, as you may recall, features him and Paris getting down and dirty to the romantic viridian hue of the night-vision setting. Because class is what you can expect from the joint owner of an online gambling Web site and adult film company.
She's an heir, he's an heir. His blonde is questionable, her blonde is questionable. For a while there, it sounded like the romance between Paris Latsis and Paris Hilton was written in the stars. Until she most likely realized that she loves "Me-Paris" more than "He-Paris" and promptly broke off their engagement.
Paris also dated actor Josh Henderson, most famous for his role as The Dude Who Dumped Ashlee Simpson on the first episode of "The Ashlee Simpson Show." His other credits include BF to Lauren Conrad and Ashley Greene, and Alleged Baby Daddy of a "Road Rules" Contestant.
Last, but not certainly least, is recycled boyfriend Doug Reinhardt, who is as skilled at posing for totally unstaged pics with Paris as he is with awesome tongue kisses. After buying her tons of diamonds at the Venice Film Festival, we must admit, he may have the 'forever' key to her heart now.
