In Hollywood, you're not official until you have your first PDA pic. So congrats Jesse James and Kat Von D: You're now a celeb couple!

The longtime friends turned lovers were snapped walking hand-in-hand yesterday in Fredericksburg, Tex., Us Weekly first reported. It was bound to happen sooner or later. The two were spotted hand-in-hand in Las Vegas last week, which prompted Kat to tweet (and quickly delete) the announcement "Yes, Jesse and I are dating."

Kat hasn't been shy about her connection with Jesse. Recently, she opened up to KROQ's Kevin & Bean about why she and Jesse make sense together, saying, "I think that I'm his type on a different level than people would assume. Just because I have tattoos doesn't mean we're the perfect match." (Still, the fact that she bears more than a passing resemblance to Michelle "Bombshell" McGee can't be dismissed.)

But it is true that Jesse and Kat have a lot in common. First of all, they're both reality show stars ("Monster Garage" for him; "LA Ink" for her), which is how they met more than five years ago. They both run successful businesses. They also share a dark past: She's a recovering drug addict, and he is, depending on who you ask, a sex addict.

Meanwhile, Sandra Bullock certainly doesn't mind that her ex-husband has a new girlfriend. "We have both moved on with our lives and only want the best for each other," she tells People. And hey, at least he's not cheating anymore (at least that we know of).

While my initial instinct is to want Jesse to be shunned by all women for the rest of his life (I mean, he did break the heart of America's Sweetheart), I've come to realize that this is the best thing that could ever happen to this tatted-up twosome.

After all, even the self-appointed "world's most hated man" deserves love … I guess. Mazel tov, kids.
