Tori's father, Hollywood mega-producer Aaron Spelling, helped launch her career by casting her in several of his series, most notably, "Beverly Hills, 90210." The show made Tori a teen idol, but when "90210" ended, the actress struggled to find her next big hit. Her biggest gig since the show wrapped? "Scary Movie 2" in 2001. So Tori switched gears. She left Hollywood behind, opened a bed and breakfast with hubby Dean McDermott, and launched the first installment of her reality-TV franchise, "Tori & Dean: Inn Love." Since then, she's returned to Hollywood, written five books, including a New York Times best seller, and reinvented herself as a motherhood and lifestyle guru. Not bad for a soap actress!
