"Gossip Girl" star Chace Crawford was arrested in Plano, Texas for marijuana possession just after midnight this morning, police have confirmed to MTV News.

Crawford, 24, was busted in car outside of Ringo's Pub in Plano, Texas, and cops found one unlit joint, according to reporting by TMZ. He was arrested for possession of marijuana under 2 ounces, a misdemeanor. Crawford has since bonded out of jail.

In a strange coincidence, Crawford's next movie role is as a drug dealer in the forthcoming film "Twelve."
