'Dancing with the Stars' Pro Karina Smirnoff Engaged

"Dancing with the Stars" pro Karina Smirnoff has a pep in her step after announcing her engagement -- and ET has pics of the ring!

Karina, 32, is set to wed pitcher of the St. Louis Cardinals Brad Penny, also 32. "I said thank you before I said yes," Karina said of the engagement. "He planned it very well and this is actually the first time I'm even talking about it.” Karina was showing off her ring while at TAO nightclub and restaurant in Las Vegas over the weekend.

The ballroom beauty started dating Brad in October 2009, not too long after she broke off her engagement to fellow "Dancing" pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

"We kept it quiet because my family is in New York and Brad's family is in Oklahoma so we kind of wanted them to come out and celebrate and be a family first before we let the cat out of the bag," Smirnoff told People.com, adding, "I'm marrying a Southern Gentleman."
