Friday the 13th could prove unlucky for Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom. After monthsof rift rumors, TMZ says the reality star plans to file for divorce on Friday from her basketball player husband of four years.
Word is, she plans to cite the usual irreconcilable differences, and the split should be smooth due to an "ironclad prenup."
"She flip-flopped several times," a source tells Us, "but she can't imagine having kids with someone who refuses to seek help for his disease."
The rehab-rebuffing NBA-er has reportedly been battling substance abuse issues, although the marriage, which began after a televised whirlwind courtship, went on life support over his alleged wandering eye.
According to TMZ, the "final straw" for Khloe came on a Nov. 23 flight home to Los Angeles from Australia, when she learned that Lamar had posted an oddball rap video in which he dropped two-timing hints such as, "And when Khloe's out of town, I still be on the DL."
She purportedly went "ballistic" over the song. Her sizable sparkler was off her finger a couple days later, and it remained MIA when Khloe hit an Oprah-honoring red carpet event in Hollywood on Wednesday with sister Kim and mom Kris Jenner.
"She is saying, 'I'm moving on,'" adds an insider.
Khloe seemed to be trying to do just that on Monday night, when she attended Jay Z's concert in Los Angeles. Odom was also at the show, but the estranged pair avoided each other. That was quite a change from their friendly appearance at a Kanye West performance in October.
The union's meltdown will supposedly be chronicled on the forthcoming season of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians."
"At first she was adamant about not letting E! address the situation," a spy explains to Us. "Then she realized it would ruin the series' integrity not to show what she was going through. But she won't let them air anything that will hurt Lamar too much."
And yes, someone used the word "integrity" while talking about "KUWTK."
